Salon Statement

On joyful days, and on sorrowful ones,
the heart lives on̶quietly, unknowingly̶changing its shape little by little.

This Salon “Hiroko Nakakita,” nestled in Kobe, is not merely a place to view artworks.
I hope it may become a gentle pause within the rhythm of life̶a small space of stillness where one can linger for a moment,
and listen closely to the breath and emotions that often go unheard.

The human heart, too, moves in seasons.
It is wounded, unravels, and finds fullness once more.
What I have sought to portray through the theme of Rinne is not an ending,
but a quiet return̶a tender renewal that unfolds beyond loss.

If, in some quiet way, I might soften the heart, and offer small happinesses
and moments of color hidden within everyday life, I would feel deeply grateful.

If this place could become a small light̶gently blooming somewhere within your heart̶nothing would bring me greater joy.
